KET: A2 Key is one of the Cambridge English qualifications. This basic level qualification is suitable for starting to learn English. The A2 Key qualification proves that you can communicate in English in simple, everyday situations. The exam tests all four English language skills: Reading Comprehension, Writing, Listening and Speaking.
PET: B1 Preliminary is one of the Cambridge English qualifications. With this exam, you show that you have mastered the basics in English. The B1 Preliminary qualification shows that you have mastered the basics of English and have the language skills needed for everyday use.
FCE: B2 First is one of Cambridge English’s best-known qualifications and is recognised worldwide by thousands of employers and educational institutions. CAE: C1 Advanced is one of the Cambridge English qualifications. It is a high-level qualification, which shows that you have the language skills that employers and universities are looking for. IELTS is widely accepted for these purposes. IELTS is designed to assess the language ability of people who wish to study or work where English is used as the language of communication. More than 3 million tests are administered each year.
TOEFL: is a test that measures fluency and knowledge in the English language. It is based on American English and is developed by ETS. The TOEFL is the most respected English language test in the world, recognized by more than 8,500 schools, universities and organizations in more than 130 countries, including Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States. The test can be taken all over the world, at ETS-approved centers that are prepared to host the test. The vast majority of universities in the United States require the TOEFL as a prerequisite for admission.
GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) is a mandatory standardized test for applying for admission to numerous MBAs and other master’s degrees at top universities around the world. It evaluates a candidate’s most important skills: analytical and numerical reasoning, as well as the ability to reason linguistically in the areas of Reading and Writing. A high score indicates good aptitude of the candidate to be issued in a Postgraduate. The GMAT is a computer-based, adaptive test, and the time to answer each question is very limited. The student is not allowed to use a calculator or leave a question unanswered, and its complex algorithm makes it one of the most difficult tests a student has had to face in his or her college career.
DELE: ideal for visa and nationality applicants, post-secondary students and working professionals. This official certification is granted by the Spanish Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport. It is issued by the Instituto Cervantes, a Spanish public institution created to promote the dissemination of Hispanic cultures internationally.
The minimum score to pass all levels is 60 points out of 100. This Spanish certification has no expiration date. The DELE Spanish exam is divided into six levels: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2. There are certification exams adapted to levels A1, A2 and B1 for students between 11 and 16 years old.
SIELE: suitable for post-secondary students and working professionals. This certificate only covers CEFR levels A1, A2, B1, B2 and C1. It was created in 2016 and designed by the most prestigious universities in Spain, Mexico and Argentina. SIELE exams are only valid for five years, and are divided into the following categories:
SIELE Global (This global exam allows the student to certify all four language skills in a single test, which is scored on a scale from 0 to 1000).
Listening Comprehension
Writing
Speaking
The four language skills can be tested separately in each exam, except for the SIELE Global. Each test of the four language skills is scored on a scale of 0 to 250 points.
CELU: suitable for post-secondary students and working professionals.
The Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Argentina recognize this Spanish certification test.
The grading scale ranges from “Good” to “Excellent”, and the exam covers only levels equivalent to B1-B2 (intermediate) and C1 (advanced). Unlike DELE and SIELE, the CELU exam is divided into oral and written sections. It does not take grammatical structure into account.
TELC: suitable for visa applicants, post-secondary students and working professionals.
This certification has a wide scope of recognition. It is issued by TELC, GMBH and the Association of Language Testers in Europe (ALTE).
The TELC Spanish certificate does not expire. The dates for taking the exam are set by each examination center, and their Spanish certification tests are divided as follows:

TELC Spanish A1, A2, B1 and B2 School (for academics)
ECL: suitable for visa applicants and professionals.
The ECL certificate is issued and endorsed by the Association of Language Testers of Europe (ALTE). And one of its similarities with the CELU exam is that it only certifies levels B1, B2 and C1.
The skills tested in the ECL Spanish language certification exam are reading, writing and listening. Candidates are graded on a scale ranging from 0 to 100 points; the minimum passing score is 60.
